Lindsay Freeman is a provisionally licensed counselor with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She specializes in treating OCD, PTSD, trauma, and depression.
 
Lindsay has extensive experience working with women who have encountered domestic violence, offering compassionate, trauma-informed support that prioritizes safety, empowerment, and healing. She understands the profound impact of abuse on mental health, self-esteem, and daily functioning, and is dedicated to helping clients reclaim their sense of agency and self-worth.
 
Additionally, Lindsay has worked with women navigating high-conflict divorce and separation, recognizing the emotional turmoil, grief, and uncertainty that can accompany family transitions. She approaches this work with empathy and patience, creating a space where clients feel heard, validated, and supported as they develop healthy coping skills and restore stability in their lives.
 
Her therapeutic style integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) skills with an emphasis on building trusting, collaborative relationships. She has experience in intake assessments, treatment planning, and group facilitation, as well as client relations, public speaking, youth guidance, outreach, and court-involved cases.
 
Lindsay is dedicated to partnering with clients to develop personalized, meaningful treatment plans that reflect their goals and promote long-term healing and resilience.
