GROUP THERAPY

Learn proven skills—together with others who “get it.”

What is it?
Therapist-led groups (usually 6–12 participants) combine education, guided exercises, and real-life practice. We offer skills-based groups (CBT, DBT skills, CBT-I for insomnia), condition-specific groups (anxiety, depression, trauma recovery), and support/process groups—with clear goals and structure.

Benefits
Evidence-based tools you can use immediately
Validation and encouragement from peers
Safe space to practice communication and coping
Cost-effective care that complements individual therapy
Built-in accountability between sessions

How groups run
Format: 60–90 minutes; closed (fixed start/end) or open (rolling) formats.
Typical arc: check-in → short lesson/skill → practice/exercise → take-home plan.
Expectations: confidentiality, cameras on for virtual groups, respectful participation.
Fit matters: brief screening ensures the right group/level of care (may recommend IOP/PHP or individual therapy first).
